A person's perspective can affect how people can interpret music and even if they like it or don't like it. For example, one person might not like a certain genre of music and view a song that is classified under it as bad or whatever, which shows bias towards different types of music. Some people might also have different perspective on what the song conveys by its lyrics and melody. Thinking that it conveys sadness or that it conveys happiness. Another perspective is how people view what the meaning of music is in its entirety. Some view it as a for of medium while others view it as an art. People appreciate music for different reasons. Some for its tecnicality, while others for its beauty. Everyone has different perspectives on certain subjects and music is no exception.
